Handfasting & Sacred Union Ceremonies

Your commitment deserves a ceremony that feels like you.

As an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church, I offer personalized handfasting, wedding, commitment, and vow-renewal ceremonies created to honor each couple’s unique story, beliefs, and intentions.

A handfasting ceremony is a beautiful symbolic ritual in which a couple’s hands are gently bound with cords or ribbons, representing their love, promises, and the life they are choosing to create together. It may be incorporated into a legally recognized wedding ceremony or performed as part of a symbolic commitment ceremony or vow renewal.

Ceremonies may include:

• Traditional or personalized handfasting rituals
• Custom vows and ring exchanges
• Spiritual, Pagan, interfaith, or nonreligious elements
• Elemental, ancestral, or unity blessings
• Readings, poetry, and meaningful music
• Recognition of children, family members, or loved ones in spirit
• Cord colors and symbols chosen to reflect your intentions
• Legal marriage solemnization where authorized

Every ceremony is created collaboratively, with respect for your beliefs, relationship, and vision. You do not need to follow one particular spiritual path—or any spiritual path—to create a ceremony filled with meaning.

Ceremony Offerings

Symbolic Handfasting or Commitment Ceremony — Starting at $225
A personalized symbolic ceremony for couples who do not require legal marriage solemnization.

Personalized Handfasting Wedding Ceremony — Starting at $225
Includes an initial consultation, customized ceremony script, handfasting ritual, one round of revisions, ceremony performance, and completion and return of the marriage license when applicable.

Vow Renewal Ceremony — Starting at $225
A meaningful ceremony honoring the love, growth, and experiences you have shared together.

Rehearsals, extended travel, additional customization, and handcrafted keepsake cords may be added to your ceremony package.
